At the Berkshire Bruins Youth Hockey Organization, our mission is simple — to build strong players and even stronger people.
Through disciplined practice and healthy competition, your child will not only learn the skills of the game but also the values of teamwork, motivation, and respect. Hockey with the Bruins means staying healthy, confident, and connected — with friendships and memories that last far beyond the rink!
Travel Team - is a competitive program designed for players seeking a higher level of play. Teams compete against other organizations, often traveling to games and tournaments, while focusing on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy in a structured environment.
Learn to Skate- teaches beginner skaters and hockey players the fundamentals of skating, including stance, stride, knee bend, edges, and holding a stick. Open to all ages. Practice is Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. Only certified coaches may be on the ice. Registration will open in September 2026.
Mites- focus is on skating and individual puck skills, with players developing fundamental abilities and a love for the game through age-appropriate training and cross-ice games. Ages 8 and under. Practices Wednesday and Friday @ 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday practices/games may occur at 8 a.m. Registration will open in September 2026.
House League- a recreational, local-level youth hockey program focused on teaching hockey fundamentals and promoting a love for the sport. These leagues emphasize player development and provide a fun, inclusive environment with equal playing time for all participants, unlike more competitive travel teams. Open to ages 9-12. Practice/Skills Tuesday evening and games Thursday evenings. Registration will open in September 2026.

Flexible Payment Plans – Pick What Works Best for You!
Payment plans are available at checkout when you put a card on file. You can also choose to pay in full. Just remember:
The later you register, the larger your first payment. All payment dates are fixed!
Here’s how it works:
🔹 Weekly Plan
• Starts: 06/26/2026
• Ends: 12/11/2026
• First payment due at checkout (or deposit)
• Remaining payments charged every Friday
• 3.4% processing fee + $3.00 service fee per transaction
• You’ll receive a payment reminder email 7 days before each due date
🔹 Bi-Weekly Plan
• Starts: 06/26/2026
• Ends: 12/11/2026
• Payments every other Friday
• Same processing and reminder details as above
🔹 Monthly Plan
• Starts: 06/26/2026
• Ends: 01/29/2027
• Payments charged on the last Friday of each month
• Same processing and reminder details as above
📌 Important Note:
Your Deposit is due at registration in the amount of $200 to secure your spot on Travel.
You can also choose a payment plan that will help pay off hockey by mid-season. You will have the option of weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments starting June 26, 2026. Starting a payment plan now gives time to spread out the large fee of Travel costs.
So don’t delay — the sooner you register, the lower that first payment will be!
