Camp Russell, located on over 200 acres on Richmond Shores, is the summer home of the Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires.

Camp operates from June through August yearly. On any given week, 250 – 380 campers attend.

The most influential and genuine learning experiences often occur outside traditional classrooms. These learning experiences generate enthusiasm among young people and leave lasting impressions on their development.

Camp activities include:  tubing, kayaking, competitive and non-competitive games, swimming, arts and crafts, fishing, gardening, hiking, various special events, and field trips.

Camp facilities include: dining hall, infirmary, recreation hall, 2 directors cabins, girls cabin, 2 brick structure cabins, a boathouse, Wilson storage cabin, pool house, pavilion, and a handicap accessible in-ground wading pool.

The camp grounds offer: playground area, soccer and ball fields, outdoor basketball court,  in beach-entry pool and a full waterfront area for swimming and boating.

Summer vacations are an ideal time for members of the Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires to engage in physical & learning opportunities. The Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires summer camp activities reinforce important skills that are often not focused on when school is not in session.
