The Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires provides a caring and nurturing environment for children and teens to learn and grow. Becoming a member makes an impact on our youths' present and future.

Membership provides access to programs in the following areas:

  • Sports & Fitness
  • Health & Recreation
  • Life Skills & Career Development
  • Arts, Crafts, Hobbies
  • Leadership & Character Building

Members in grade 3 and older can attend drop-in programs (listed below) and are eligible to sign-up for programs requiring registration including summer camp. Member discounts may apply for some programs.

2020 - 2021 Membership

Club Membership is $20.00 PLUS a $3.00 service fee. Membership is valid September 1, 2020 - August 31, 2021.

Drop-in programs are available to members 3rd grade and up and do not require registration. Members are encouraged to participate in drop-in programs any time they are at the Club.

Drop-in Programs for Members

Due to COVID-19 guidelines from the Department of Public Health and the Governor, Drop in programs are not currently available.

Free Swim
Time for swimming and pool play under supervision of lifeguards.
Hours: Weekdays. Times vary. Check daily schedule or monthly calendar.

Eligibility: Co-ed. 3rd grade and older. Club Membership required.

Keystone
A leadership development experience providing opportunities to participate in activities focused on academic success, career preparation and community service.
Hours: Mondays 7 PM during the school year.
Eligibility: Grades 9 - 12. Boys & girls. Club Membership required.

Passport to Manhood
Promotes and teaches responsibility. Consisting of 14 sessions, each of which concentrates on a specific aspect of manhood through highly interactive activities, the program engages young men in discussions and activities that reinforce positive behavior. Each Club participant receives his own “passport” to underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey of maturation and growth.
Hours: Pop-up program during the school year. Check daily schedule.
Eligibility: Boys aged 8 - 17. Club Membership required.

Power Hour

Homework help provided by staff and volunteers.
Hours: Monday - Thursday during the school year. Excludes school holidays & vacations.
Eligibility: Co-ed. 3rd grade and older. Club membership required.

SMART Girls
Through interactive, engaging, small-group sessions that engender camaraderie while also encouraging each girl to explore and express her individuality, SMART Girls ensures girls get the right information and the right support at the right time. Discussions, hands-on games and activities, role-play, take-home challenges & activities, may address the following issues: physical and emotional change and growth (puberty); self-Esteem and body image; healthy eating, fitness and exercise; sexual and reproductive health; healthy relationships; and social media.

Eligibility: Girls aged 8 - 18. Club membership required.

Torch Club
Chartered small-group leadership and service club that meets the special character development needs of younger adolescents at a critical stage in their development. Torch Club members learn to elect officers and work together to implement activities in four areas: service to Club and community, education, health and fitness and social recreation.
Hours: Pop-up program during the school year. Check daily schedule.
Eligibility: Boys & girls in grades 6-8, ages 11-13. Club membership required.

Triple Play
This program teaches good nutrition, encourages increasing daily physical activity, and helps kids develop healthy relationships. This program is sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union.
Hours:5:30 PM - 6:30 PM during the school year.
Eligibility: Co-ed. Ages 8-18. Club membership required.
