AAU Basketball
The Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires basketball program fosters the development of peer relationships, self-esteem, leadership qualities, and physical health.

African Rooted Dance with Berkshire Pulse

Offered in partnership with Berkshire Pulse and instructor Noel Staples, this seven week class will introduce youth to fundamentals of African dance. in addition to dance, youth will also explore the cultural and historical influence of this style.

Bigger Faster Stronger 
Bigger, Faster, Stronger is a conditioning program for all athletes and non athletes regardless of sport or gender. The program improves flexibility, speed, power and agility. These benefits allow your muscles to work efficiently.

Cheerleading
Learning basic motions, technique, jumps, dance and some stunting.

Cooking
This program teaches kitchen safety and basic cooking skills, Participants will prepare dishes and enjoy what they make.

Creative Writing Club
A small group program meant to introduce youth to the craft of creative writing. Through exercises, lessons, and story prompts, participants will explore the different elements of creative fiction

Drama Matters
Youth will be introduced to the world of drama and theater. Culminating in a final performance before families, friends, and peers. Participants will discover a new outlet for expressing themselves, basic proficiency in dramatic arts and self confidence from realizing their creative potential.

Bulldog's Flag Football
To give kids an option to stay fit and stay occupied. Teach the fundamentals of football to youth.
Season: August 21st - October 6th

Football
To learn, understand, and perform the fundamental skills of football. Players will be taught teamwork, self-discipline, and how to attain their potential on and off the football field. Equipment is provided with the exception of cleats and athletic supporters.
Season: August - October
Eligibility: Ages 7 - 13 (or 14 years old in 8th grade). Boys & girls.  Club Membership required.

Hip Hop and Breaking with Berkshire Pulse

Come learn the foundations of break dancing and hip-hop with instructor Laura Coe. This 9 week program will introduce youth to the style and is offered for free in partnership with Berkshire Pulse.

Hip Hop and House Dance

Come learn the foundational moves and grooves of old school hip hop and house! Students will be introduced to old school hip hop party dances from the 80s until now as well as footwork and lofting. Come ready to have fun! This program is offered in partnership with Berkshire Pulse and is free for members.

Hockey
The mission Of the Boys and Girls club Berkshire Bruins is to provide a safe environment in which hockey players of all ages can develop. Through disciplined practice and healthy competition, we not only aim to encourage the physical development and skill acquisition necessary for the game of hockey, but also the dedication to team, motivation for improvement, and respect for others necessary for the game of life. We offer this program to all boys and girls who want to play as a way to be healthy, be proud, and create winning relationships on and off the ice.

Keystone Club
Keystone is the Boys & Girls Club movements most dynamic teen program. It affords teens an opportunity to gain valuable leadership and service experience. Teens participate in activities in four key areas: Academic success, career exploration, community service and tech outreach.

Mini Members
A structured program for younger members to introduce them to the Club. Activities include: arts & crafts; cooking; games; swimming; building tours; mini field trips; and more.

Passport to Manhood
Promotes and teaches responsibility. Concentrates on a specific aspect of manhood through highly interactive activities, the program engages young men in discussions and activities that reinforce positive behavior. Each Club participant receives his own “passport” to underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey of maturation and growth.

Power Hour
Homework help provided by staff and volunteers.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 5:30pm Starting September 18, 2023 - December 15, 2023. Excludes school holidays & vacations.

Sewing

Classes are available for intermediate level only, Grades 5 thru 7. All materials included - students may bring their own machine however, personal machines will need to be taken home after each class.

Skill Improvement Basketball 
This Skills Improvement session is designed to target basketball fundamentals for players looking to enhance their basketball skills. Instructions on shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding and defensive skills will be emphasized.
Season:   Operates for one week in the summer.

SMART Girls 
SMART Girls is a small-group health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement program designed to meet the developmental needs of girls in three age groups. Through dynamic sessions, highly participatory activities, field trips and mentoring opportunities with adult women, Club girls explore their own and societal attitudes and values as they build skills for eating right, staying physically fit, getting good health care and developing positive relationships with peer adults.
Eligibility:  Grades 6th - 12th

Swim Lessons
Swim Lessons teach basic fundamental swimming skills up to advanced level skills, fitness swimming, and swim team readiness.

Swim Team
A competitive swim team.

Tee Ball Coaches Pitch
The goal of our league is to learn the fundamentals of field play and base running. This program will prepare players to advance to the player-pitch league (AAA). Teams will practice 1 time per week (one additional practice is optional) and play 1 game per week. The league is non-competitive, instruction only league. Our goals are Safety, Instruction, and Fun! All children will receive a jersey and hat. We will supply all equipment except for a glove.
Season: April 23rd - June. 
Eligibility: Boys & girls aged 5-7. (K - 3rd Grade) Club membership required.

Torch Club
A small-group leadership and service club that meets the special character development needs of younger adolescents at a critical stage in their development. Torch Club members learn to work together to implement activities in four areas: service to Club and community, education, health and fitness and social recreation.

Wrestling
A youth wrestling club supervised by adult coaches for students in grades 3-8. This program provides a safe and controlled environment, teaching proper wrestling moves and techniques through demonstration and drills. Students will learn folk style wrestling rules and how scoring and pins apply to the sport along with basic positions up through advanced moves when they are ready. Focus of the program: Strength and conditioning to improve overall cardio, physical fitness. Basic life skills such as hard work, commitment, discipline and respect. Setting goals to improve overall fitness based on overall athletic ability.
Season: November 14 through mid March
Eligibility: Co-ed program open to members in grades 3 through 8. Club Membership required.

Youth Sign Connect
Youth Sign Connect is a wonderful initiative to promote inclusivity and communication accessibility. The program will include interactive and hands-on activities for all ages to enjoy.

Money Matters
Money Matters teaches teens how to set goals, budget, save and invest. These skills lead to work place readiness, life-long financial stability and overall success.
