Thank you for registering for Gators Swim Team 2023-2024. Tryouts for Swim Team will be Tuesday, October 10th and Wednesday, October 11th at 5:30pm . Swimmers whose ability level does not meet the minimum practice group requirements will be encouraged to sign up for swim lessons. The team will still have rolling registration for those who improve to swim team ready during the season however any swimmer looking to join the team after the tryout week will need to schedule an assessment with the coaches and gain the coaches approval prior to registering for the team.
Tryouts will be held Tuesday, October 10th AND Wednesday, October 11th at 5:30pm.
** Swimmers must provide their own goggles. **
- YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL AFTER TRYOUTS WITH IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TEAM PLACEMENT.
- PAYMENT WILL BE DUE AT THE TIME OF YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF A POSITION ON THE TEAM.
Practice will be held on:
White Team: Mondays & Wednesdays 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Green Team: Tuesday & Wednesdays 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Combined practice (Green & White Teams) on Thursdays 7:00pm - 8:00pm.
Cost :
$175 Green Group, plus $20 membership + $3 service fee
$155 White Group, plus $20 membership + $3 service fee
**Fees cover Swim Team and cost of Team swim suits**
All participants must have a Club Membership - $20.00 plus $3 service fee (not included with swim fee)
Each child will be assigned to a practice group based on their own skills and abilities
Green group
This group consists of more advanced swimmers
· knows all four strokes (freestyle backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly)
· The ability swim long distances
White group
· knows at least two of the four strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly)
· The ability to swim long distance
